Everybody has a past howsoever bleak, dirty, or horrible should not define who we are in the present or who we are aiming to be. The past is a pathfinder of the present, the present is the foundation of the future, that is comprehensible enough. Isn't the purpose of forgiveness the opportunity of a second chance?
Infact, our defining moment should not be that which we use to whine or lament about our crystallized past but that very moment we decide to leave our past behind, that very moment we convince ourselves that we can be a better person, that very moment we refused to be led by hate, that very moment we decide to blot out those stains in our heart militating against peace and start to lighten up dark room with the lamp in our heart. Isn't this the reason God refused to isolate man from one another, so life may be easy for all. We are each others helper, regardless of the colour, race or country. We were created to coexist and mutually benefit from one another. How did the world lost his way.
